Looking for a great hotel to stay for a short break?

When I worked on the launch of the Bath Spa Hotel I was on the management team alongside two great guys Tim Lloyd (Front of House Manager) and Robert Wilson (F&B Manager). They went on to run their own restaurant Splinters in Christchurch, it was a great success. After several years they wanted to get back to the hotel trade and launched their own hotel in 2006. Captain’s Club Hotel in Christchurch was an instant success.

The 4 star hotel and spa has a wonderful location on the banks of the River Stour and the staff in every department are friendly and professional. Tides Restaurant (2 rosettes) and the adjacent bar look out towards the river with al fresco dining on the terrace. They also have their own boat which you can hire for champagne trips up the river.
